EUR JPY Forecast Today, 23 October 2026: 12 Of 12 Targets Reached. Is The EURJPY Bounce A Chance To Buy?
This EUR JPY forecast today starts with a line from yesterday.
In yesterday’s EUR JPY forecast we published every ticket on the board, with eleven targets already reached. One was still open. We wrote that the 4 hour ticket was “about 14 pips from Target 3”.
Overnight, Target 3 was reached.
That makes 12 of 12. Every EURJPY ticket on the board completed its whole plan. The 4 hour alone travelled 178.4 pips from its entry to its third target, three times the distance it risked. EURJPY dipped to around 175.25, roughly 250 pips below where it started on 22 October.
Now comes the part that catches traders out. This morning EURJPY is bouncing, and the 15 minute chart has turned UP. After a fall that big, the bounce looks like a bottom.
So is it a chance to buy? Here is what the panel says.
1. Yesterday’s Read, Checked: 12 Of 12

Every level below was published yesterday, before the last target was reached. You can check each one against yesterday’s post.
| Chart | Entry | Risk | Targets | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| H4 | 177.337 (21 Oct 16:00) | 59.5 pips | 176.742, 176.148, 175.553 | All targets reached |
| H1 | 177.281 (22 Oct 07:00) | 50.2 pips | 176.779, 176.277, 175.775 | All targets reached |
| M30 | 177.529 (22 Oct 05:00) | 20.9 pips | 177.320, 177.111, 176.902 | All targets reached |
| M15 | 177.538 (22 Oct 04:45) | 20.5 pips | 177.333, 177.129, 176.924 | All targets reached |
Four tickets, three targets each, twelve targets reached.
That is what we mean when we say the daily reads are proof you can check yourself. We do not tell you what happened after the fact. We publish the levels while the trade is still running, and then you can see what price did.
2. How The Whole Move Played Out

The board lined up in the same order it always does: the big charts first, then the fast ones.
- 21 October, 16:00. The 4 hour turned DOWN and joined the daily. The verdict became SELL, and the 4 hour printed its ticket at 177.337.
- 22 October, early hours. The market was quiet. Then the 15 minute (04:45), the 30 minute (05:00) and the 1 hour (07:00) lined up with the verdict, each with its stop already marked.
- 22 October, through the day. EURJPY fell hard. The three fast tickets reached all their targets.
- Overnight into 23 October. The fall continued to around 175.25, and the 4 hour reached Target 3 at 175.553.
No prediction at any step. The panel never said “this will fall 250 pips”. It said every timeframe agrees, here is the stop, here are the three targets. The move did the rest.
3. Today’s Trap: Buying The First Bounce

After a 250 pip drop, EURJPY has bounced to around 175.91, about 66 pips off the low. The 15 minute chart has turned UP.
This is where many traders buy. The drop looks “overdone”, the bounce looks like the bottom, and a green 15 minute chart feels like confirmation.
But look at what has actually turned. Only the 15 minute.
| Chart | Reads |
|---|---|
| M15 | UP |
| M30 | DOWN |
| H1 | DOWN |
| H4 | DOWN |
| Daily | DOWN |
One fast chart against four. On the 15 minute panel there is no ticket at all, because the chart is pointing against the verdict. The status line on the board reads Sell on M30, H1, H4.
After a big move, the first bounce is not a new trend. It is a pause. One fast chart turning up is what a pause looks like, and it is also what the start of a reversal looks like. The difference only shows when the big charts turn too. Until they do, buying the bounce means buying against the 4 hour and the daily, with no stop marked for you.
We saw exactly the same thing on EURUSD this week from the other side: a week long bounce that never turned the daily. Read it in today’s EUR USD forecast.
4. What The Panel Shows Now

All four tickets have completed, so there is no open EURJPY ticket on the board right now. The verdict is still SELL.
What would bring a new sell ticket: the bounce running out, and a faster chart turning back DOWN to line up with the verdict. The 15 minute would be the most likely to go first, since it is the one that has turned.
What would change the picture: if the bounce kept going and the 30 minute and 1 hour turned UP too, that would still only be the fast charts. The verdict only changes if the 4 hour turns UP. If the 4 hour turned UP while the daily stayed DOWN, the verdict would move to NO TRADE, and the panel would stand aside.
The levels to watch, read from the chart:
- The 30 minute and 1 hour trailing lines sit roughly between 176.1 and 176.2. A bounce through there would turn those charts UP as well.
- The overnight low around 175.25 is the level the bounce started from.
Nobody knows whether the bounce stalls here or runs further first. The panel tells you which charts have turned, and which have not.
5. After Twelve Targets, The Same Size
There is one more trap after a run like this, and it has nothing to do with the chart.
When a pair reaches twelve of twelve targets, it is tempting to feel the next ticket is “safe”, and to trade it bigger. That is how a good week turns into a bad one. The next ticket knows nothing about the last twelve.
Every ticket gets the same risk. We risk at most 2 percent per trade, usually 0.5 percent, and that stays the same after a stop loss, and the same after twelve targets.
EURJPY is quoted in yen, so one pip on a standard lot is 1,000 yen, roughly $6.40 with USDJPY near 157. Check the exact figure on your platform. On yesterday’s 4 hour ticket, with a 59.5 pip stop, $50 of risk was about 0.13 lots. On a small account, a cent account makes sizes like that possible. For small balances we recommend a RoboForex Cent account or an XM Micro account. These are partner links, so we may receive a commission at no cost to you.
If you are worrying about every trade, your lot size is still too big.
Published Before, Checked After
Put the two days together.
Yesterday we published four EURJPY tickets with every entry, stop and target. Eleven targets were already reached, and one was 14 pips away. Today the last one is done. Twelve of twelve.
And this morning, when a bounce made EURJPY look like it had bottomed, the panel showed plainly that only one fast chart had turned.
That is Direction Sniper:
- Direction. One verdict from the 4 hour and the daily. It turned SELL before the move, and it is still SELL through the bounce.
- Rallies that have not broken structure. A bounce that turns one fast chart is not a reversal. The panel shows you which charts have turned, so you are not guessing.
- The stop loss. Every ticket arrived with its stop and three targets marked. All twelve targets on this move were set the moment each ticket printed.
The 28 Pair Edition puts this panel on EURJPY and 27 other pairs, MT4 or MT5, on one license.

EUR JPY Forecast Today: Frequently Asked Questions
What is the EUR JPY forecast today, 23 October 2026?
The Direction Sniper panel still reads SELL on EURJPY, because the 4 hour and the daily both point down. The 15 minute has turned UP in a bounce, so the status reads Sell on M30, H1, H4.
All four tickets from the move have completed, so there is no open EURJPY ticket right now. Price was around 175.91 at the time of writing.
Did the EURJPY 4 hour ticket reach Target 3?
Yes. On 22 October we published the 4 hour sell from 177.337 as about 14 pips from Target 3. Overnight EURJPY reached 175.553, so all three of its targets were reached.
From entry to Target 3 is 178.4 pips, three times the 59.5 pips the ticket risked. Price reaching a published target level is not the same as a realised result.
How many EURJPY targets were reached on this move?
Twelve of twelve. The 15 minute ticket from 177.538, the 30 minute ticket from 177.529, the 1 hour ticket from 177.281 and the 4 hour ticket from 177.337 each reached all three of their targets.
Every level was published while the trades were still running, so each one can be checked against the 22 October post.
Is the EURJPY bounce a chance to buy?
Not according to the panel. Only the 15 minute has turned UP. The 30 minute, 1 hour, 4 hour and daily all still read DOWN, so the verdict is SELL and there are no buy tickets.
After a big move, the first bounce is not a new trend. One fast chart turning up is a pause until the big charts agree.
What would change the EURJPY verdict?
The verdict only changes if the 4 hour turns UP. If the 4 hour turned UP while the daily stayed DOWN, the verdict would move to NO TRADE and the panel would stand aside.
If the bounce runs out instead, a faster chart turning back DOWN would line up with the SELL verdict again and bring a new sell ticket. The 15 minute would be the most likely to go first.
How far did EURJPY fall?
EURJPY started 22 October around 177.75 and dipped to around 175.25 overnight into 23 October, roughly 250 pips. It then bounced to around 175.91.
These high and low levels are approximate readings from the chart.
Should you trade bigger after a run of reached targets?
No. The next ticket knows nothing about the last twelve, so every ticket gets the same risk. We risk at most 2 percent per trade, usually 0.5 percent, after a stop loss and after a run of targets alike.
EURJPY is quoted in yen, so one pip on a standard lot is 1,000 yen, roughly $6.40 with USDJPY near 157. These figures are arithmetic for illustration, not a recommendation about how much anyone should trade.
