Gold Price Forecast Today, 28 September 2026: All Three Targets Hit on M15, Two Tickets Still Running
Here is the gold price forecast today, 28 September 2026.
Gold has fallen roughly 150 points since Friday afternoon. It closed the week around 4306. It is trading at 4153.52 as I write.
The Direction Sniper had three tickets in that move. One has reached all three targets. The other two have banked two targets each and are still open.
And on Friday, three days ago, I published two gold tickets on this same blog that were stopped out for a loss.
Same tool. Same market. Read both posts.
What I Said Would Happen on Friday
On Friday both metals read NO TRADE, because H4 had turned UP while D1 was still DOWN. The two gatekeepers disagreed, so no verdict was issued and nothing was built.
Here is what I wrote at the time, before any of this happened:
“H4 and D1 have to agree again. Either D1 turns UP and the verdict becomes BUY, or H4 turns back DOWN and the verdict returns to SELL. Until one of those happens, gold and silver stay on NO TRADE and no ticket will be built on any timeframe.”
H4 turned back DOWN. The verdict returned to SELL. And then gold fell out of bed.
I did not predict that. Nobody predicted that. The rule was simply written down in advance, in public, and then the market did one of the two things the rule said it could do.
Gold Price Forecast Today: The Verdict Is Back to SELL
Every row on the panel now points the same way.
- Sniper Direction: SELL
- Entry timeframes: M15 DOWN, M30 DOWN, H1 DOWN
- Direction: H4 DOWN, D1 DOWN
- Status: Sell on M15, M30, H1, H4
Full agreement across the entire board. That is the condition the Direction Sniper was built to find, and it is the condition it refused to fake all through Friday when it was not there.
M15: All Three Targets Reached

- Signal Entry: 4266.25 (sell)
- Trailing Stop: 4204.30
- Target 1: 4235.25 HIT
- Target 2: 4204.25 HIT
- Target 3: 4173.25 HIT
- Status: All targets reached
The ticket entered short at 4266.25 with three targets spaced 31.00 apart. Gold went through all three.
Target 1 at 4235.25. Target 2 at 4204.25. Target 3 at 4173.25.
Gold is now at 4153.52, below every level this ticket was ever asked to reach. The status line does not say “stop level passed” or anything ambiguous. It says All targets reached, in green, and the whole ticket greys out because there is nothing left for it to do.
Nothing about that required a decision from me. The entry was printed. The three targets were printed. The trailing stop moved down behind price on its own the entire way.
M30: Two Targets Banked, Third Still Live

- Signal Entry: 4266.06 (sell)
- Trailing Stop: 4214.20
- Target 1: 4213.80 HIT
- Target 2: 4161.55 HIT
- Target 3: 4109.29
Same entry area as M15, but M30 measures its own volatility and spaced its targets 52.26 apart instead of 31.00. Wider timeframe, wider steps.
Targets 1 and 2 are marked HIT. Target 3 at 4109.29 sits roughly 46 points below the current price and is still live.
Look at the trailing stop: 4214.20. That is 51.86 below the entry price on a sell ticket. The trail has walked past the entry and kept going. This position is still open and it is running with a very different shape to the one it started with.
H1: Two Targets Banked, and the Trail Has Not Caught Up

- Signal Entry: 4260.20 (sell)
- Trailing Stop: 4291.16
- Target 1: 4209.93 HIT
- Target 2: 4159.65 HIT
- Target 3: 4109.38
Two targets hit, third still open at 4109.38, and here is the detail worth stopping on.
The H1 trailing stop is at 4291.16, which is still above the entry at 4260.20.
Two targets are banked and the trail has not yet come down past the entry price. On M15 it has. On M30 it has. On H1 it has not.
That is not a fault. That is the H1 chart moving at H1 speed. A one hour trailing level updates once an hour and it walks in bigger steps, so after a fast drop it lags well behind price. It will catch up. It has not yet.
Three Timeframes, Three Different Trailing Stops
Put the three trailing levels next to each other and you can see the entire mechanism in one glance.
| Timeframe | Entry | Trailing stop | Position of trail |
|---|---|---|---|
| M15 | 4266.25 | 4204.30 | 61.95 below entry |
| M30 | 4266.06 | 4214.20 | 51.86 below entry |
| H1 | 4260.20 | 4291.16 | 30.96 above entry |
Three tickets, on the same metal, in the same move, entered within six points of each other. Three completely different protective levels.
Fast charts trail tight and lock in early. Slow charts trail wide and lag. Neither is right or wrong. They are different trades with different personalities, and the panel is showing you which one you are actually in.
If you trade M15, you use the M15 number. If you trade H1, you use the H1 number. You do not mix them, and you do not take the H1 entry and then manage it with the M15 stop because it looks safer.
Three Days Ago I Showed You Two Losses
This is the part that matters more than any of the numbers above.
On Friday I published two gold tickets that had been stopped out. Entry 4279.19, stops at 4292.21 and 4294.56, both taken, neither reaching a single target. I named them, showed the charts, and put the losses at the top of the post rather than the bottom.
Today the same indicator, on the same metal, produced the biggest move it has given me this month.
Neither post means much on its own. Together they mean everything, because you now know what I do on the bad days. Anybody can publish today’s charts. Almost nobody publishes Friday’s.
Every ticket you have seen from me this week was on the blog before the outcome was known. Thursday’s four, Friday’s two losses, and today’s three. You can go back and check every number.
What Has To Stay True
H4 and D1 must both stay DOWN. The moment either one turns, the SELL verdict disappears and the two open tickets lose their justification. That is exactly what happened on Friday, and it is why Friday produced nothing.
The trailing stops are the trailing stops. M30 at 4214.20 and H1 at 4291.16. They will keep moving on their own. Your job today is to not touch them, and in particular not to tighten the H1 level to where the M15 level sits because the lag makes you uncomfortable.
Do not chase. Gold has fallen 150 points. The tickets that caught it entered in the 4260 area on Friday evening. Entering now, at 4153, into a move that has already run, with no signal and no calculated stop, is how a good week turns into a bad one.
If a fresh ticket is justified, the panel will build one and the alert will fire. Until then there is nothing to add.
Get the Same Panel on Your Charts
Every number on this page came off one panel. The verdict, the three entries, the three trailing stops and the nine target levels. Nothing was drawn by hand. Nothing was decided in the moment. Nothing was moved because a candle looked frightening.
The Direction Sniper, Gold and Silver Edition reads H4 and D1 for you and prints one verdict: BUY, SELL or NO TRADE. When an entry timeframe genuinely agrees with that verdict, it builds a complete ticket with an entry, a trailing stop and three targets. When they disagree, it says Stand aside and gives you nothing, which is exactly what it did on Friday, the day before this move started.
It will not make you right every time. I published two of its losses three days ago. What it does is calculate the stop before the trade exists, move the protective level for you while the trade runs, mark each target as it is reached, and refuse to issue anything on the days the conditions are not there.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the gold price forecast today, 28 September 2026?
The Direction Sniper reads H4 and D1 as both DOWN, giving a SELL verdict on gold, with M15, M30 and H1 all in agreement. The Status line reads Sell on M15, M30, H1, H4. Gold is trading at 4153.52 after falling roughly 150 points since Friday.
Did the gold tickets reach their targets?
The M15 ticket entered at 4266.25 and reached all three targets at 4235.25, 4204.25 and 4173.25. The M30 ticket entered at 4266.06 and has reached Target 1 at 4213.80 and Target 2 at 4161.55, with Target 3 at 4109.29 still open. The H1 ticket entered at 4260.20 and has reached Target 1 at 4209.93 and Target 2 at 4159.65, with Target 3 at 4109.38 still open.
Why is the H1 trailing stop still above its entry price?
Because a one hour trailing level updates once an hour and moves in larger steps than a fifteen minute one. After a fast drop it lags behind price. It will catch up. The M15 and M30 trailing levels have already moved past their entries.
What happened to gold last Friday?
Both metals read NO TRADE because H4 had turned UP while D1 was still DOWN. Two gold tickets from Thursday were stopped out that day, both reported in full on this blog.
Should I sell gold now?
The tickets described here entered around 4260 before the move. Gold is now near 4153. No new ticket has been issued at current levels. This is education, not advice, and every trader is responsible for their own decisions.
Trading foreign exchange, metals and CFDs carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Past performance is not indicative of future results. The tickets described here are examples read from a chart, not recommendations to buy or sell. Two gold tickets published on this blog on 24 September were stopped out for a loss on 25 September.
