</div></div><h1 dir="ltr">Currency Strength Today, 30 October 2026: The Dollar Sinks To The Bottom Of The Board. So Why Is Gold Falling Too?</h1>
<p dir="ltr">This currency strength today read starts with a scorecard.</p>
<p dir="ltr">In <a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/currency-strength-today-29-october-2026/">yesterday&rsquo;s currency strength read</a>, the GBPNZD buy from 2.36991 was a fresh ticket sitting right at its entry. Overnight it reached <strong>Target 1 and Target 2</strong>, and its trailing stop now sits 23.6 pips in front of the entry.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Today the board has a new headline. <strong>The US dollar has dropped from the middle of the board to the very bottom.</strong> It now scores as weak as the Canadian dollar scores strong, and it is weaker than six of the seven currencies it trades against.</p>
<p dir="ltr">And yet gold, which usually rises when the dollar falls, is falling too.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Below is what changed since yesterday, today&rsquo;s ranking, the live tickets, the pair we are watching, what the dollar is really doing, and what gold and silver say.</p>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>GBPNZD</strong> is the clean one. It printed at 05:00 yesterday, right before we published, and it has since climbed to 2.37722. Target 3 at 2.38558 is still open, and the trailing stop at 2.37227 means this ticket can no longer close at a loss if the stop is moved to it.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1853" src="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-NO-TRADE.png" alt="CADCHF H1 panel, NO TRADE" width="1560" height="663" srcset="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-NO-TRADE.png 1560w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-NO-TRADE-300x128.png 300w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-NO-TRADE-1024x435.png 1024w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-NO-TRADE-768x326.png 768w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-NO-TRADE-1536x653.png 1536w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-NO-TRADE-250x106.png 250w" sizes="(max-width: 1560px) 100vw, 1560px"></p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong>CADCHF</strong> reached Target 1 at 0.59224, then turned. The trailing stop did its job: the ticket closed at the trailing level, in front of where it started. Today CADCHF reads <strong>NO TRADE</strong>, because the 4 hour has turned DOWN while the daily is still UP. The Swiss franc&rsquo;s climb to second place on the board is why.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1854" src="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-SELL-verdict-no-open-ticket.png" alt="GBPCAD H1 panel, SELL verdict, no open ticket" width="1560" height="662" srcset="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-SELL-verdict-no-open-ticket.png 1560w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-SELL-verdict-no-open-ticket-300x127.png 300w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-SELL-verdict-no-open-ticket-1024x435.png 1024w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-SELL-verdict-no-open-ticket-768x326.png 768w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-SELL-verdict-no-open-ticket-1536x652.png 1536w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-SELL-verdict-no-open-ticket-250x106.png 250w" sizes="(max-width: 1560px) 100vw, 1560px"></p>

Target 1 at 1.86310 was reached, then a bounce reached the trailing stop, which by then sat below the entry. The verdict is still SELL, and the panel is waiting for the next ticket.</p>
<h3 dir="ltr">Yesterday&rsquo;s Pick Of The Day: EURAUD Turned</h3>
<p dir="ltr"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1855" src="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURAUD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE.png" alt="EURAUD H4 panel, NO TRADE" width="1560" height="660" srcset="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURAUD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE.png 1560w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURAUD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-300x127.png 300w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURAUD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-1024x433.png 1024w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURAUD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-768x325.png 768w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURAUD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-1536x650.png 1536w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURAUD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-250x106.png 250w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1560px) 100vw, 1560px"></p>
<p dir="ltr">In <a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/eur-aud-forecast-today-29-october-2026/">yesterday&rsquo;s EUR AUD forecast</a> we asked whether it was too late to sell EURAUD after 300 pips. Overnight, EURAUD bounced from below 1.5800 to above 1.5950.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Here is what that bounce did to the four tickets.</p>
<ol dir="ltr">
<li><strong>The 4 hour sell</strong> from 1.61035 had already reached Targets 1 and 2. It closed at its trailing stop at 1.58889, <strong>214.6 pips in front of the entry.</strong></li>
<li><strong>The 1 hour and 30 minute sells</strong> had each reached Target 1, then closed at their trailing stops.</li>
<li><strong>The 15 minute sell</strong> from 1.57943, the freshest ticket, reached no target and closed at its trailing stop.</li>
</ol>
<p dir="ltr">Today every EURAUD timeframe reads <strong>NO TRADE</strong>. The 4 hour has turned UP, the daily is still DOWN, and the panel stands aside until they agree.</p>
<p dir="ltr">This is exactly why yesterday&rsquo;s post said not to chase an old ticket. The direction held for ten days, the bounce came, and the trailing stops protected most of the move.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">2. Strongest And Weakest Currencies Today</h2>
<div dir="ltr">

<p dir="ltr">Pairing the three strongest with the three weakest gives nine pairs worth watching:</p>
<p dir="ltr">USDCAD, USDCHF, GBPUSD, EURCAD, EURCHF, EURGBP, NZDCAD, NZDCHF and GBPNZD.</p>
<p dir="ltr">On the Direction Sniper board, <strong>all nine point the way the ranking says they should.</strong> Three have a ticket ready right now: USDCAD, GBPUSD and GBPNZD.</p>
<p dir="ltr">If you have seen a different ranking on another site today, that is normal. We explain why in our guide to why a <a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/why-currency-strength-meters-disagree/">currency strength meter</a> can disagree with another one.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Every one of them is on the side of the ranking: a buy on a strong currency or a sell on a weak one.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">4. Pick Of The Day: USDCAD</h2>
<p dir="ltr"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1856" src="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/USDCAD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN.png" alt="USDCAD H1 panel, SELL, every timeframe DOWN" width="1562" height="663" srcset="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/USDCAD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN.png 1562w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/USDCAD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN-300x127.png 300w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/USDCAD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN-1024x435.png 1024w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/USDCAD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN-768x326.png 768w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/USDCAD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN-1536x652.png 1536w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/USDCAD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN-250x106.png 250w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1562px) 100vw, 1562px"></p>
<p dir="ltr">If you came here looking for the best forex pair to trade today, this is how we narrow it down. Our pick puts the strongest currency on the board against the weakest: <strong>USDCAD</strong>.</p>
<p dir="ltr">On the 1 hour chart, USDCAD climbed from around 1.3975 on 23 October to near 1.4070 on 28 October. Since then it has fallen back below 1.3970, and every bounce on the way down has stopped below the one before it.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Every timeframe on the panel agrees.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Alongside yesterday&rsquo;s 1 hour ticket, a 30 minute buy printed at 00:30 this morning at 2.37683. It reached Target 1 at 2.38094 within hours, then dipped back to 2.37623, just below its entry.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The 15 minute chart reads DOWN, a small pullback. The 30 minute, 1 hour, 4 hour and daily all read UP, and the status line reads <strong>Buy on M30, H1, H4.</strong></p>
<h2 dir="ltr">6. US Dollar Today: MIXED</h2>
<p dir="ltr">The US dollar is the world&rsquo;s reserve currency, so every day we check whether it is leading the market or sitting out. We read all seven dollar pairs on the board, then check gold to see whether it agrees.</p>

<p dir="ltr">On forex, the dollar is weaker on <strong>six of seven pairs</strong>, and stronger on none. On its own, that is as weak as the dollar gets on our board.</p>
<p dir="ltr">But gold disagrees. Gold reads <strong>SELL</strong>, and a falling gold price normally goes with a firm dollar, not a weak one. So our verdict is <strong>MIXED</strong>: the dollar is weak against currencies, while gold is being sold for its own reasons.</p>
<p dir="ltr">When the dollar and gold stop moving opposite each other, the usual rules of thumb stop working. Trade the pairs the board points to, and do not assume gold will rescue a dollar trade, or the other way round.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">7. Gold Check: Gold And Silver Both Read SELL</h2>
<p dir="ltr"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1859" src="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN.png" alt="XAUUSD H1 panel, SELL, every timeframe DOWN" width="1561" height="662" srcset="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN.png 1561w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN-300x127.png 300w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN-1024x434.png 1024w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN-768x326.png 768w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN-1536x651.png 1536w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H1-panel-SELL-every-timeframe-DOWN-250x106.png 250w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1561px) 100vw, 1561px"></p>
<p dir="ltr">Yesterday gold read NO TRADE, because its 4 hour pointed up while its daily pointed down. Overnight the 4 hour turned DOWN to join the daily, and every gold timeframe now reads <strong>SELL</strong>. That is what <a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/multi-timeframe-analysis-gold/">multi timeframe analysis for gold</a> looks like when the two charts that decide direction finally agree.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The 1 hour sell ticket printed on 29 October at 08:00 at 4024.79. Gold is at 4002.36, 22.43 points below the entry. Target 1 is 3974.35, and the trailing stop sits at 4030.72.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Silver is further along. Its 30 minute sell from 53.096 has reached Target 1 at 51.962, and silver is now 51.399. The trailing stop has moved to 52.357, <strong>73.9 cents in front of the entry.</strong></p>
<p dir="ltr">For both metals in full, read today&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/gold-and-silver-price-forecast-today-30-oct-2026/">gold and silver price forecast</a>.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">8. Before You Act: Check The Numbers, Then The Size</h2>
<p dir="ltr">A live ticket is only useful if the numbers still make sense from where price is now.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong>1. Where is price against the entry?</strong> USDCAD is 2.5 pips below its entry, close to the plan as printed.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong>2. How much room is left?</strong> From 1.39685, the USDCAD trailing stop is 29.3 pips away and Target 1 is 31.3 pips away. That is roughly even to Target 1, with two more targets beyond it.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong>3. How old is it?</strong> GBPUSD has already reached Target 1, so anyone arriving now is not getting the ticket as printed. From 1.33921, its trailing stop is 41.3 pips away and Target 2 is 60.3 pips away.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong>4. It is Friday.</strong> A ticket still open when the market closes for the weekend can open on Monday beyond its stop. If you hold over the weekend, size for that, or decide before the close whether to hold at all.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Every ticket gets the same risk. <strong>We risk at most 2 percent per trade, usually 0.5 percent,</strong> and that does not change because a currency is at the bottom of the board.</p>
<p dir="ltr">USDCAD is quoted in Canadian dollars, so one pip on a standard lot is 10 Canadian dollars, roughly $7.16 with USDCAD near 1.3970. Check the exact figure on your platform. From today&rsquo;s price to the trailing stop is 29.3 pips, so $50 of risk is about 0.24 lots. To work out your own size in seconds, use our free <a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/gold-lot-size-calculator/">USDCAD Lot Size Calculator</a>.</p>
<p dir="ltr">On a small account, a cent account makes sizes like that possible. For small balances we recommend a <a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/roboforex">RoboForex Cent account</a> or an <a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/XM">XM Micro account</a>. These are partner links, so we may receive a commission at no cost to you.</p>
<p dir="ltr">If you are worrying about every trade, your lot size is still too big.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">Published Yesterday, Checked Today</h2>
<p dir="ltr">Put the two days together.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Yesterday&rsquo;s fresh GBPNZD ticket reached two targets. CADCHF and GBPCAD each reached Target 1, and their trailing stops closed them in front of where they started. And when yesterday&rsquo;s pick, EURAUD, finally bounced, the 4 hour ticket closed 214.6 pips in front of its entry, and the panel moved to NO TRADE.</p>
<p dir="ltr">That is Direction Sniper:</p>
<ul dir="ltr">
<li><strong>Direction.</strong> One verdict from the 4 hour and the daily. Today every strong against weak pair points the way the ranking says.</li>
<li><strong>Rallies and bounces that have not broken structure.</strong> EURAUD&rsquo;s bounce turned the 4 hour, so the panel stepped aside instead of selling into it.</li>
<li><strong>The stop loss.</strong> Every ticket arrives with its stop and three targets marked, and the trailing stop level shows you when a ticket can no longer close at a loss.</li>
</ul>
<p dir="ltr">The 28 Pair Edition puts this panel on every pair in today&rsquo;s ranking, MT4 or MT5, on one licence, so you see these tickets the moment they print.</p>

Is EURAUD Still A Sell After Target 1?</h1>
<p dir="ltr">This currency strength today read starts with a scorecard.</p>
<p dir="ltr">In <a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/currency-strength-today-28-october-2026/">yesterday&rsquo;s currency strength read</a> we published four live tickets, every one of them on the side of the strength ranking. Overnight, the CADCHF buy and the GBPCAD sell both reached <strong>Target 1</strong>, and both are still running.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Today the board is even cleaner. The Canadian dollar and the Australian dollar share the top spot, the euro is still the weakest, and <strong>all nine pairs that put a strong currency against a weak one point the same way as the ranking.</strong></p>
<p dir="ltr">Below is what changed since yesterday, today&rsquo;s ranking, the live tickets, the pair we are watching, what the US dollar is doing, and what gold and silver say.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">1. What Changed Since Yesterday</h2>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>EURUSD</strong> has not reached Target 3 at 1.10931 yet. It bounced from around 1.1120 to 1.11469. The good news is in the stop: the trailing stop level has come down from 1.11964 to 1.11643, which now sits <strong>41 pips in front of the entry.</strong> The 4 hour and the daily still read DOWN.</p>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>EURCAD</strong> is the one that did not go to plan. A sharp spike on 28 October reached yesterday&rsquo;s 30 minute stop at 1.56453, so that ticket closed for a loss of 16.8 pips. But the 4 hour and the daily never turned. A new sell printed at 21:30 at 1.56225, and it has already reached Target 1 at 1.55938, with its trailing stop now 14.9 pips in front of the entry.</p>
<p dir="ltr">That is the whole lesson of the series in one pair. A stop is the cost of being early. The direction came from the bigger charts, and they were right.</p>

<p dir="ltr">If you came here looking for the best forex pair to trade today, this is how we narrow it down. Our pick puts the strongest currency against the weakest: <strong>EURAUD</strong>.</p>
<p dir="ltr">On the 1 hour chart, EURAUD has fallen from around 1.6050 on 21 October to below 1.5800. Every rally on the way down has stopped below the one before it.</p>
<p dir="ltr">What makes EURAUD stand out today is that every timeframe on the panel agrees.</p>

<p dir="ltr">The sell ticket printed on 28 October at 22:00 at 1.58099, with a risk of 28.2 pips. Target 1 at 1.57817 has been reached. Since then, price has drifted back up to 1.58066, just 3.3 pips below the entry.</p>

</ol>
<p dir="ltr">So is EURAUD still a sell after Target 1? The panel says the direction has not changed at all. What has changed is the room: Target 2 is 53.1 pips away, and the trailing stop is 27.3 pips above price. Section 7 shows how to check that before acting.</p>
<p dir="ltr">This is the pair we are watching most closely today, not a trade recommendation. For every EURAUD timeframe and the full plan, read today&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/eur-aud-forecast-today-29-october-2026/">EUR AUD forecast</a>.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">5. CADJPY And GBPNZD: The Ranking On Two More Charts</h2>
<h3 dir="ltr">CADJPY: Strongest Against Weakest, Target 1 Reached</h3>

<p dir="ltr">On the 1 hour chart, CADJPY climbed from around 111.80 on 23 October to near 113.00 this morning.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The buy ticket printed on 28 October at 14:00 at 112.517, and Target 1 at 112.881 has been reached. CADJPY is now 112.775, 25.8 pips above the entry. The trailing stop level has moved up to 112.656, <strong>13.9 pips in front of the entry.</strong> Target 2 at 113.245 and Target 3 at 113.609 are still open.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The 15 minute chart reads DOWN, a small pullback. The status line reads <strong>Buy on M30, H1, H4.</strong></p>
<h3 dir="ltr">GBPNZD: A Fresh Ticket After A Big Move</h3>
<p dir="ltr"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1824" src="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPNZD-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket.png" alt="GBPNZD H1 panel, fresh BUY ticket" width="1562" height="635" srcset="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPNZD-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket.png 1562w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPNZD-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket-300x122.png 300w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPNZD-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket-1024x416.png 1024w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPNZD-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket-768x312.png 768w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPNZD-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket-1536x624.png 1536w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPNZD-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket-250x102.png 250w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1562px) 100vw, 1562px"></p>
<p dir="ltr">GBPNZD shows the New Zealand dollar&rsquo;s new weakness. On 27 October it jumped from around 2.3435 to above 2.3800 in a single hour. Since then, it has held most of that move instead of giving it back.</p>
<p dir="ltr">This morning at 05:00 a fresh buy ticket printed at 2.36991, with every timeframe reading UP. GBPNZD is at 2.36962, right at the entry.</p>
<ol dir="ltr">
<li><strong>Stop:</strong> 2.36469, 52.2 pips below the entry</li>
<li><strong>Targets:</strong> 2.37513, 2.38036, 2.38558</li>
</ol>
<p dir="ltr">After a jump like that, many traders assume it must come back. The panel reads the opposite: the move has not broken, and the bigger charts still point up.</p>

<p dir="ltr">The dollar is stronger on one pair, weaker on two, with no edge on the other four. Gold and silver both read NO TRADE. <strong>Verdict: MIXED.</strong> The move today is about the Canadian dollar, the Australian dollar and the euro, not the dollar.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong>Risk Mood: MIXED.</strong> At the time of writing, the S&amp;P 500 is down 0.42%, the Dow is up 0.19% and the US tech index is down 1.17%, while the yen sits on the weak side. The board and the stock market are not telling the same story today, a good reason to keep size small.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">7. Gold Check: What Gold And Silver Say</h2>
<p dir="ltr"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1825" src="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE.png" alt="XAUUSD H4 panel, NO TRADE" width="1562" height="635" srcset="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE.png 1562w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-300x122.png 300w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-1024x416.png 1024w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-768x312.png 768w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-1536x624.png 1536w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-250x102.png 250w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1562px) 100vw, 1562px"></p>

</div>
<p dir="ltr">Both metals read NO TRADE, because the 4 hour points up while the daily points down. That matches a dollar with no clear direction.</p>
<p dir="ltr">There is one interesting split. Gold&rsquo;s fast charts all point up, while silver&rsquo;s all point down, with silver around 53.17 and down about 1.5% on the day. The two metals usually move together. When they pull apart like this, the panel stands aside on both until the bigger charts agree.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Standing aside is a decision too, and on days like this it is the one that protects your account.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">8. Before You Act: Check The Numbers, Then The Size</h2>
<p dir="ltr">A live ticket is only useful if the numbers still make sense from where price is now. Check three things before anything else.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong>1. Where is price against the entry?</strong> GBPNZD is at its entry, so its plan is close to how it printed. EURAUD is also back near its entry, but its Target 1 is already reached.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong>2. How much room is left?</strong> On EURAUD, Target 2 is 53.1 pips away and the trailing stop is 27.3 pips away. On CADJPY, Target 2 is 47 pips away and the trailing stop is only 11.9 pips below price.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong>3. How old is it?</strong> The EURUSD ticket printed on 22 October. It has done most of its work, and Target 3 is 53.8 pips away while the trailing stop is 17.4 pips above. That is a ticket to manage, not one to start.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Then comes the size. Every ticket gets the same risk. <strong>We risk at most 2 percent per trade, usually 0.5 percent,</strong> and that does not change because a board looks clean.</p>
<p dir="ltr">EURAUD is quoted in Australian dollars, so one pip on a standard lot is 10 Australian dollars, roughly $7 with AUDUSD near 0.70. Check the exact figure on your platform. From today&rsquo;s price to the trailing stop is 27.3 pips, so $50 of risk is about 0.26 lots. To work out your own size in seconds, use our free <a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/gold-lot-size-calculator/">EURAUD Lot Size Calculator</a>.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Yesterday we published four live tickets on the strength ranking. Overnight, CADCHF and GBPCAD reached Target 1 and are still running, EURUSD is still running with two targets reached, and the one that was stopped out, EURCAD, was replaced by a new ticket that has already reached Target 1. This morning, all nine strong against weak pairs point the same way as the ranking.</p>
<p dir="ltr">That is Direction Sniper:</p>
<ul dir="ltr">
<li><strong>Direction.</strong> One verdict from the 4 hour and the daily. EURCAD&rsquo;s bigger charts never turned, even when a spike reached the 30 minute stop.</li>
<li><strong>Rallies and bounces that have not broken structure.</strong> EURAUD drifted back to its entry after Target 1, and EURUSD bounced off its low. On both, every bigger chart still reads DOWN.</li>
<li><strong>The stop loss.</strong> Every ticket arrives with its stop and three targets marked, and the trailing stop level shows you when a ticket can no longer close at a loss.</li>
</ul>
<p dir="ltr">The 28 Pair Edition puts this panel on every pair in today&rsquo;s ranking, MT4 or MT5, on one licence, so you see these tickets the moment they print.</p>

</div></div><h1 dir="ltr">Currency Strength Today, 28 October 2026: CAD Strongest, EUR Weakest. Which Live Tickets Line Up?</h1>
<p dir="ltr">This currency strength today read comes with something you can use while it still matters: live tickets.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The Canadian dollar is the strongest currency on our board. The euro is the weakest. And this morning, at 09:00, the Direction Sniper panel printed three fresh tickets on exactly the pairs that ranking points to: a <strong>buy on CADCHF</strong>, a <strong>sell on GBPCAD</strong> and a <strong>sell on EURCAD</strong>. All three are still running.</p>
<p dir="ltr">That is the whole idea behind reading currency strength. Find the strongest and weakest currencies today, pair them up, and let the panel tell you which way, where to enter and where the stop belongs.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Below is the ranking, every live ticket with its levels, the pair we are watching most closely, and what gold says about the US dollar.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">1. Strongest And Weakest Currencies Today</h2>
<p dir="ltr">Here is how the eight major currencies line up today.</p>
<div dir="ltr">
<table>
<thead>
<tr>
<th scope="col">Group</th>
<th scope="col">Currencies</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Strongest</td>
<td><strong>CAD</strong>, then AUD, then GBP</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Middle</td>
<td>USD and NZD</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Weakest</td>
<td><strong>EUR</strong>, with JPY and CHF level with each other</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
</div>
<div class="internal-linking-related-contents"><a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/currency-strength-today-29-october-2026/" class="template-2"><span class="cta">Read more</span><span class="postTitle">Currency Strength Today, 29 October 2026: CAD And AUD Lead, EUR Lags.</span></a></div><p dir="ltr">Pairing a strong currency against a weak one gives us nine pairs worth watching out of 28:</p>
<p dir="ltr">EURCAD, EURAUD, EURGBP, CADJPY, CADCHF, AUDJPY, AUDCHF, GBPJPY and GBPCHF.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The other 19 pairs set currencies of similar strength against each other. That is where choppy, directionless price tends to live.</p>
<p dir="ltr">A strength ranking tells you where to look. It does not tell you when to enter or where your stop belongs. That is the job of the Direction Sniper panel, which is why we read the two together.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">2. The Live Tickets Today</h2>
<p dir="ltr">Every ticket below was still running at the time of writing. Each one arrived with its entry, stop and three targets marked.</p>
<div dir="ltr">
<table>
<thead>
<tr>
<th scope="col">Pair</th>
<th scope="col">Chart</th>
<th scope="col">Direction</th>
<th scope="col">Entry</th>
<th scope="col">Stop</th>

</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>CADCHF</td>
<td>H1</td>
<td>BUY</td>
<td>0.59094 (28 Oct 09:00)</td>
<td><span dir="ltr">0.58964</span></td>
<td>0.59224, 0.59355, 0.59485</td>
<td>Running, price at entry</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>GBPCAD</td>
<td>H1</td>
<td>SELL</td>
<td>1.86710 (28 Oct 09:00)</td>
<td><span dir="ltr">1.87110</span></td>
<td>1.86310, 1.85910, 1.85509</td>
<td>Running</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>EURCAD</td>
<td>M30</td>
<td>SELL</td>
<td>1.56285 (28 Oct 09:00)</td>
<td><span dir="ltr">1.56453</span></td>
<td>1.56109, 1.55933, 1.55757</td>
<td>Running</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>EURUSD</td>
<td>H4</td>
<td>SELL</td>
<td>1.12053 (22 Oct 16:00)</td>
<td>1.11964 trailing</td>
<td>1.11679, 1.11305, 1.10931</td>
<td><strong>Targets 1 and 2 reached</strong></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
</div>
<p dir="ltr">Notice the pattern. Every live ticket is a buy on the Canadian dollar or a sell on the euro, the two ends of today&rsquo;s ranking. Not one of them fights the strength board.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">3. Pick Of The Day: CADCHF</h2>
<div class="internal-linking-related-contents"><a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/currency-strength-today-30-october-2026/" class="template-2"><span class="cta">Read more</span><span class="postTitle">Currency Strength Today, 30 October 2026: The Dollar Sinks To The Bottom Of The Board.</span></a></div><p dir="ltr"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1782" src="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket.png" alt="CADCHF H1 panel, fresh BUY ticket" width="1561" height="731" srcset="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket.png 1561w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket-300x140.png 300w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket-1024x480.png 1024w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket-768x360.png 768w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket-1536x719.png 1536w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/CADCHF-H1-panel-fresh-BUY-ticket-250x117.png 250w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1561px) 100vw, 1561px"></p>
<p dir="ltr">If you came here looking for the best forex pair to trade today, this is how we narrow it down. Our pick puts the strongest currency against one of the weakest: <strong>CADCHF</strong>.</p>
<p dir="ltr">On the 1 hour chart, CADCHF climbed from around 0.5848 on 22 October to around 0.5910 by 27 October. It pulled back to around 0.5893 on the evening of 27 October, and this morning it turned up again.</p>
<p dir="ltr">What makes CADCHF stand out today is that every timeframe on the panel agrees.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Fresh ticket, every timeframe up, the strongest currency against one of the weakest. That is why CADCHF is the pair we are watching most closely today. It is still not a trade recommendation. What you do with it is your decision, and section 7 shows how to check the numbers first.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">4. GBPCAD: Canadian Strength Against The Pound</h2>
<p dir="ltr"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1783" src="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket.png" alt="GBPCAD H1 panel, fresh SELL ticket" width="1561" height="732" srcset="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket.png 1561w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket-300x141.png 300w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket-1024x480.png 1024w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket-768x360.png 768w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket-1536x720.png 1536w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/GBPCAD-H1-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket-250x117.png 250w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1561px) 100vw, 1561px"></p>
<p dir="ltr">The pound is third strongest today, but the Canadian dollar is stronger still. Strength is always relative, and GBPCAD shows it.</p>
<p dir="ltr">On the 1 hour chart, GBPCAD has made lower highs all week, from around 1.8840 on 21 October down to 1.86545 now. The panel printed a sell arrow on each rally, and every timeframe reads DOWN. The status line reads <strong>Sell on M15, M30, H1, H4.</strong></p>
<p dir="ltr">The fresh sell ticket printed at 09:00 this morning at 1.86710, and GBPCAD has already moved 16.5 pips in its favour.</p>
<ol dir="ltr">
<li><strong>Stop:</strong> 1.87110, 40 pips above the entry</li>
<li><strong>Target 1:</strong> 1.86310</li>
<li><strong>Target 2:</strong> 1.85910</li>
<li><strong>Target 3:</strong> 1.85509</li>
</ol>
<p dir="ltr">Every timeframe pointing down, and the stronger currency on the right side of the trade. That is what a clean strength pair looks like on the panel.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">5. EURCAD: Strongest Against Weakest</h2>
<p dir="ltr"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1784" src="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURCAD-M30-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket.png" alt="EURCAD M30 panel, fresh SELL ticket" width="1560" height="733" srcset="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURCAD-M30-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket.png 1560w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURCAD-M30-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket-300x141.png 300w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURCAD-M30-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket-1024x481.png 1024w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURCAD-M30-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket-768x361.png 768w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURCAD-M30-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket-1536x722.png 1536w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURCAD-M30-panel-fresh-SELL-ticket-250x117.png 250w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1560px) 100vw, 1560px"></p>
<p dir="ltr">EURCAD is the purest expression of today&rsquo;s board: the strongest currency against the weakest.</p>
<p dir="ltr">On the 30 minute chart, EURCAD fell from around 1.5718 on 26 October to near 1.5610 on 27 October. Since then, price has bounced and drifted sideways between roughly 1.5625 and 1.5650.</p>
<p dir="ltr">That bounce is where many traders start to doubt the trend. The panel did not. The 4 hour and the daily still read DOWN, and this morning at 09:00 a fresh 30 minute sell ticket printed at 1.56285.</p>
<ol dir="ltr">
<li><strong>Price now:</strong> 1.56316, 3.1 pips above the entry</li>
<li><strong>Stop:</strong> 1.56453</li>
<li><strong>Targets:</strong> 1.56109, 1.55933, 1.55757</li>
</ol>
<p dir="ltr">The 15 minute chart reads UP, a small bounce inside the move. The status line reads <strong>Sell on M30, H1, H4.</strong> This is the ticket to watch for whether the sideways drift turns back down, the way the bigger charts say it should.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">6. EURUSD: The Weakest Currency On The Biggest Pair</h2>
<p dir="ltr"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1785" src="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURUSD-H4-panel-SELL-Target-1-and-Target-2-HIT.png" alt="EURUSD H4 panel, SELL, Target 1 and Target 2 HIT" width="1560" height="730" srcset="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURUSD-H4-panel-SELL-Target-1-and-Target-2-HIT.png 1560w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURUSD-H4-panel-SELL-Target-1-and-Target-2-HIT-300x140.png 300w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURUSD-H4-panel-SELL-Target-1-and-Target-2-HIT-1024x479.png 1024w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURUSD-H4-panel-SELL-Target-1-and-Target-2-HIT-768x359.png 768w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURUSD-H4-panel-SELL-Target-1-and-Target-2-HIT-1536x719.png 1536w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/EURUSD-H4-panel-SELL-Target-1-and-Target-2-HIT-250x117.png 250w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1560px) 100vw, 1560px"></p>
<p dir="ltr">The euro&rsquo;s weakness shows on EURUSD too.</p>
<p dir="ltr">On the 4 hour chart, EURUSD spent mid October stuck between roughly 1.1200 and 1.1260. The sell ticket printed on 22 October at 16:00 at 1.12053, near the top of that range, and EURUSD has slid to 1.11228 since.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Target 1 at 1.11679 and Target 2 at 1.11305 have been reached. <strong>Target 3 at 1.10931 is still open.</strong> The trailing stop sits at 1.11964, 8.9 pips in front of the entry. Direction Sniper calculates and displays that level as the trade develops, and the trader moves their own stop to it. Done that way, a ticket that is working can no longer close at a loss.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The 15 minute and 30 minute charts read UP today, a short bounce. But the 4 hour and the daily both still read DOWN, and the direction comes from the bigger charts. The status line reads <strong>Sell on H1, H4.</strong></p>
<p dir="ltr">For the full EURUSD picture, see our <a href="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/category/eur-usd-forecast/">EUR USD forecast</a> reads.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">7. Gold Check: What Gold Says About The US Dollar</h2>
<p dir="ltr"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1786" src="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-stand-aside.png" alt="XAUUSD H4 panel, NO TRADE, stand aside" width="1561" height="732" srcset="https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-stand-aside.png 1561w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-stand-aside-300x141.png 300w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-stand-aside-1024x480.png 1024w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-stand-aside-768x360.png 768w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-stand-aside-1536x720.png 1536w, https://www.breakoutsniper.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/XAUUSD-H4-panel-NO-TRADE-stand-aside-250x117.png 250w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1561px) 100vw, 1561px"></p>
<p dir="ltr">The US dollar sits in the middle of the board today, neither strong nor weak. So we check gold to see whether it agrees.</p>
<p dir="ltr">On the 4 hour chart, gold dropped from around 4,190 on 19 October to around 3,990 by 23 October, then lifted back to around 4,044.</p>
<div dir="ltr">

</tbody>
</table>
</div>
<p dir="ltr">The verdict is <strong>NO TRADE</strong>, and the status reads <strong>Stand aside.</strong></p>
<p dir="ltr">Gold agrees with the strength board. The bigger charts are split, so there is no clear read on the dollar today, and no gold ticket to show you. The lift off the lows could be the start of something, or it could be a bounce inside a falling daily trend. The panel stands aside until the 4 hour and the daily agree.</p>
Where is price against the entry?</strong> The CADCHF ticket is at its entry. From 0.59092, the stop is 12.8 pips away and Target 1 is 13.2 pips away, close to the plan as printed.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong>2. How much room is left?</strong> The GBPCAD ticket has already moved 16.5 pips. From 1.86545, Target 1 is 23.5 pips away while the stop is 56.5 pips away. The ticket is working, but anyone arriving now has less room and more distance to the stop.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><strong>3. Is it an old ticket?</strong> The EURUSD ticket printed on 22 October. From 1.11228, Target 3 is only 29.7 pips away, while the trailing stop is 73.6 pips above. That is a ticket to manage, not one to start. When the numbers no longer make sense, the right move is to wait for the next ticket, not to chase this one.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Then comes the size. Every ticket gets the same risk. <strong>We risk at most 2 percent per trade, usually 0.5 percent,</strong> and that does not change because a pair looks strong.</p>
<p dir="ltr">CADCHF is quoted in Swiss francs, so one pip on a standard lot is 10 francs, roughly $12 with USDCHF near 0.83. Check the exact figure on your platform. On the CADCHF ticket, with its 13 pip stop, $50 of risk is about 0.32 lots.</p>
<h2 dir="ltr">Where To Look, Which Way, How Much</h2>
<p dir="ltr">Put today&rsquo;s board together.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The strength ranking points at the Canadian dollar as the strongest currency and the euro as the weakest. This morning the panel printed fresh tickets on CADCHF, GBPCAD and EURCAD, every one of them on the side of that ranking. EURUSD has already reached two targets and is still running.</p>
<p dir="ltr">That is Direction Sniper:</p>
<ul dir="ltr">
<li><strong>Direction.</strong> One verdict from the 4 hour and the daily. Every live ticket today points the same way as the strength board.</li>
<li><strong>Bounces that are not reversals.</strong> EURCAD bounced and drifted sideways after its fall. The bigger charts never turned, and a fresh sell ticket printed this morning.</li>
<li><strong>The stop loss.</strong> Every ticket arrives with its stop and three targets marked, so you can check the numbers before you act, and the trailing stop level shows you when a ticket can no longer close at a loss.</li>
</ul>
<p dir="ltr">The 28 Pair Edition puts this panel on every pair in today&rsquo;s ranking, MT4 or MT5, on one licence, so you see these tickets the moment they print.</p>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>Disclaimer:</strong> This post reports what the Direction Sniper panel showed on CADCHF, GBPCAD, EURCAD, EURUSD and XAUUSD on 28 October 2026. The tickets were running at the time of writing, and prices will have moved by the time you read this. It is educational analysis, not financial advice and not a trade signal service, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell. Price reaching a published target level is not the same as a realised result. A target shown as reached means price touched that level on the chart, and does not describe anyone&rsquo;s trade. High and low levels are approximate readings from the chart. Pip values and lot sizes are arithmetic for illustration, depend on the exchange rate, and are not a recommendation about how much anyone should trade. Forex trading carries risk, and you should only trade money you can afford to lose.</p>
